The Ukrainian youth team held the second control match as part of the November training camp.
As part of preparations for Euro-2023, Rotany’s wards played against the hosts of the tournament – the national team of Georgia.
Of course, the composition of our youth was experimental – it was clear even earlier, when the coach was only naming the composition for the training session.
However, it was necessary to look at potential base variables.

The first half was not the most interesting – the teams got used to each other and there were practically no dangerous moments.
But after the break, things got more interesting. Our team became more active, which led to a goal – in the middle of the second half, a great combination of Ukrainians took place, which was completed by Kashchuk with an accurate shot.
However, the joy was short-lived – in 7 minutes, the Georgians fought back – a crazy long-range shot that flew into the goal. It should be noted that Tvardovsky clearly did not save here, letting it into the goalkeeper’s corner.
The rest of the match was spent by the Ukrainian national team in attacks, but it did not press the opponent – the final score was 1:1.
With this match, the Ukrainian youth player closes the training and returns home in the next few days.
