“The Oll.tv service was hacked during the Ukraine-Wales match. Hacked by the Russians (they tried to show the Ukrainians “federal channels” instead of our team). We apologize to the viewers. We are trying to raise the platform,” said Natalya Yemchenko, SCM Communications Director.

Oll.tv is part of the Media Group of Ukraine, which is part of Rinat Akhmetov’s SCM holding.

“The envious Rusnya is trying to spoil the viewers’ viewing of the national team’s match for qualifying for the 2022 World Cup. We are making every effort to neutralize the cyber attack as soon as possible,” the platform’s Facebook says.

  • The Ukrainian national team took fourth place in group D of the selection for the 2022 World Cup, where France (the current world champion), Finland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kazakhstan played. In the semi-finals of the playoffs, the yellow-blues beat Scotland 1-3 in Glasgow (goals scored by Yarmolenko, Yaremchuk and Dovbik).
  • Wales finished second in Group E with Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia and Belarus. In the semi-finals, he beat Austria 2-1, both goals were scored by the team’s leader, Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale.
