KYIV. September 20. UNN. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a draft law in general, according to which servicemen have the right to demobilization if they have a third child during military service. 331 people’s deputies voted for it. People’s Deputy of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharenko reported this, reports UNN.
“Those men who have three children to support are not subject to mobilization. But if the father joined the ranks of the Armed Forces, and the third child was born after that, he did not have the right to demobilization before. In the first days of the full-scale invasion, men with many children were mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces. They had the right to be drafted at will, but in practice it did not work everywhere. And some, realizing the colossal danger that loomed over the state, deliberately refused the postponement – and also mobilized. But now they have to return to their large family,” Honcharenko said.
From now on, according to the law, another reason for dismissal from military service during martial law will apply: the presence of three or more children under the age of 18. So, if the child was born during the service, or family circumstances force him to return, then the soldier will have the right to demobilization.

Kindergarten teachers and sports coaches may be exempted from mobilization in Ukraine.
