This was announced by the deputy head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko in Telegram.
“Nine rockets covered Zaporizhzhia and its suburbs. Russian inhumans fired a rocket into a hotel in the central park. There is significant destruction, people remain under the rubble. Rescuers are working on dismantling the rubble and freeing people,” he informed.
As a result of the shelling, part of the population of Zaporizhzhya district was left without electricity.
“Also, as has become traditional for Russian terrorists, they hit an electrical substation. The southern communities of the Zaporizhzhia district are currently without electricity. The TV tower was also hit. Emergency services are working to eliminate the consequences as soon as possible,” Tymoshenko said.
