Russians 40+ still dream of the USSR.
Advisor to the President’s Office, Oleksiy Arestovych, commented on the mobilization in the Russian Federation. According to him, mostly forty-year-old Russian “soldiers” will be sent to the front.
Arestovych said this in a conversation with Russian human rights defender Mark Feigin.
“Why forty-year-olds? . . . Because young people are all confused. They are more mobile. And forty-year-olds tend to obey the law. This is their delusion – about the restoration of the USSR,” Arestovych noted.
He added that for men burdened by families and children, escaping from mobilization is impossible.
“This is not an option. Young people, who are not burdened by families, can wander, wash away to Kazakhstan… And where does a forty-year-old man wash away?… Forty-year-olds have much greater social inertia. They are caught faster,” added Arestovych.
We will remind you what consequences full mobilization and threats of nuclear annihilation will have for Russia.
