Restoration of networks and technical supply capabilities, demining of power transmission lines, repairs – everything goes on around the clock.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, reported that Ukrainian energy companies managed to ease the situation in some regions. However, the most stabilizing blackouts affected Vinnytsia, Sumy, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Frankiv, Kyiv and the capital.
This was discussed in the President’s address on November 20.
“We are doing everything possible and impossible to return normal life to Odesa, Kharkiv and all our cities and communities,” Zelenskyi said.
He thanked all energy workers, workers of communal services, regional administrations – all “who work for the sake of Ukrainians”.
As a reminder, Ukrainian energy workers are working to ensure that power outages last only a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening.
It was reported that in the winter in Ukraine, electricity may be cut off for 10-12 hours in the event that the Russian Federation launches missile strikes during severe frosts.
