The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi informs about this on Facebook.
“Today, the terrorist country, the Russian Federation, launched a massive missile attack on the critical infrastructure of our country. Being unable to defeat the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is waging war against peaceful citizens, thermal power plants, medical facilities, and even babies,” Zaluzhny wrote.
The Commander-in-Chief emphasized that today the Russians launched 67 air-based Kh-101/Kh-555 and sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles. In particular, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 51 shells from them, as well as 5 Lancet-type kamikaze drones.
Zaluzhnyi thanked the Ukrainian servicemen: “You are a model for the whole world, what you are doing in the conditions of a constant shortage of weapons, equipment, and ammunition is at the limit of what is possible.”
“I thank the partner countries for the air defense and anti-missile defense systems that cover the sky above us. Peace in Europe directly depends on the stability and security of Ukraine,” added the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces.
