Recently, the Polish studio CD Projekt RED has officially revealed what the remastered version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will look like for next-gen consoles and PC. Along with a lot of visual and gameplay improvements, the cult RPG will get completely unnecessary elements. Attentive gamers noticed that poisonous “junk” armor from the first season of the Netflix series The Witcher with Henry Cavill was added to the game. Now it needs to be removed.
The armor from the series was remembered even by those users who are not familiar with the world of The Witcher. Her ridiculous appearance has spawned many memes and caused a whole wave of angry reactions from fans. The Nilfgaard armor from the show looked like a garbage bag and now it has been added to the game for some reason.
Can’t believe they added Netflix’s Nilfgaardian armor to The Witcher 3
I don’t understand why they even acknowledged the Netflix series, let alone put the time and resources into making these sets in the game…
Probably a joint promotion deal. Netflix used some elements of the game, like swords and medallions, so CDPR had to do that too. I definitely won’t use this crap.
In social networks, players express mass dissatisfaction with this decision of CD Projekt RED. The Netflix series is already not very appreciated in the community of fans of The Witcher, and in some it causes very strong anger. Users hope that this ridiculous set of armor can be easily disabled in the settings, but they are still displaced by the fact that the developers were working on such content.
The new version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released on December 14 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
