We know that Vivo is gearing up to launch a new entry-level smartphone soon. Several previous leaks have revealed the design, specifications and pricing of the device in India. Now, a new report has surfaced that reveals the design of the Vivo Y02 in more detail and also reveals its launch date.
The report comes from MySmartPrice , which cites well-known whistleblower Paras Guglani as its Source. It reveals the full design of the Vivo Y02, revealing a water drop at the top of the display, as well as thick bezels at the top and bottom of the smartphone’s screen. On the back is a rectangular camera module with a large circular cutout. The smartphone will have a single camera sensor and an LED flash module on the back.
The poster for the Vivo Y2 confirms that it will have 3GB of RAM, a 5,000mAh battery and a November 28 launch. Most likely, the phone has a plastic back and frame. On the right edge of the phone are the power and volume buttons. On the bottom edge, you’ll find a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Earlier, other information about the phone appeared. It is reported to sport a 6.51-inch Halo FullView IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. One 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera sensor will be included.
The phone will have 32 GB of internal memory and will support microSD card expansion. A MediaTek Helio P22 SoC will be found inside. Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 is most likely pre-installed on the device. According to Vivo, the phone will be priced at Rs 8,449 in India. The India launch date is yet to be announced.
